How it beats a skip
A skip means a council permit if it's on the road, days of it sitting on your drive, and you doing all the lifting and loading in the meantime. We bring the van straight to the door, climb in and load it ourselves, and it's gone the same day — handy on the tight old-town streets a skip lorry can't even reach. There's no VAT, and once you total up the permit, your time and the hire days, it usually works out comparable or cheaper.
What we take — and what we can't
Furniture and suites, mattresses and beds, white goods and appliances, garden and green waste, shed and garage clear-outs, builders' bits, and general household clutter — from a single item to a full house. The main thing we can't take is paint tins and similar hazardous waste; if you're unsure about something specific, just ask before booking and we'll tell you straight.
How clearance is priced
It's priced by volume — roughly how much of the van it fills — like skip hire but with no VAT and all the loading done for you, typically from around £150 upward. Single bulky items are charged individually (single bed £80, sofa £95, armchair £84, fridge or double bed £120). We give you a clear price on arrival before we lift anything, and once you're happy, we crack on.
Responsible, licensed disposal
Everything we take goes to licensed transfer stations and recycling facilities — we re-use and donate what we sensibly can, and we never fly-tip. We hold an Environment Agency upper-tier waste carrier registration, and we're happy to provide a waste transfer note for landlords, businesses and executors who need one for their records.
